Inside, the Isys engine generates impressive color graphics, delivering fast performance and incredible versatility. Equipped with a 32-bit Freescale ColdFire® microprocessor and an ingenious and highly efficient operating system, it supports high-resolution graphics and images, dynamic text, full-motion video, animations, multimodal elements (buttons, frames, indicators and sliders), pop-up/scroll subpages and much more.
Synapse™
The unique Synapse image rendering algorithm, developed exclusively by Crestron, allows system programmers to create stunning graphics with greater speed and ease. Advanced antialiasing delivers sharper, more precise objects and text, while enhanced 3D effects add depth and new style. Because Synapse is natively integrated into the touch panel, memory requirements and load times are significantly reduced.
Advanced gamma correction video
Advanced gamma correction video is integrated as standard in the TPS-4000L, accepting any NTSC/PAL composite or S-Video source, and is scalable for display in any size window or full screen. This advanced gamma correction ensures accurate color reproduction.
Tactile buttons
Five programmable "hard" buttons are integrated to provide quick access to frequently used functions. The cover of each button can be personalized with individual engraving, facilitating intuitive use at a glance.
Built-in audio
Audio features include built-in amplified speakers, volume control, stereo line-level input, and a microphone with automatic gain control and line-level output. The speakers can be used to amplify signals from TV and video sources or to support programmable intercom functionality in combination with the microphone. Custom WAV files can also be loaded onto the touch panel to enhance the user experience by adding custom button sounds, auditory feedback, and voice commands.
Versatile recessed mounting design
The TPS-4000L is designed for easy installation, whether flush-mounted, on a wall, on a desk or on a similar flat surface. It offers a wide range of mounting accessories, including the optional backbox and 19" rack mount kit. An integrated light sensor automatically adjusts the screen brightness to ensure optimal visibility in various lighting conditions.
