Product warranty

PRODUCT WARRANTY POLICY AND PROCEDURES

ELTEK Multimedia offers warranty services in accordance with applicable legislation in Romania, with the help of its service units or authorized service units of partners or manufacturers.

The products are new, in their original packaging and come from sources authorized by each manufacturer.

No warranty is provided for consumables (e.g. batteries, accumulators), accessories and protective films.

Legal entities

In the case of warranty certificates issued by ELTEK, the warranty period is 12 months for long-term use products. The term for bringing the products into conformity is a maximum of 30 days.

In the case of warranty certificates issued by the manufacturer, the conditions for granting warranties may vary depending on the manufacturer and are established in their commercial policies.

Individuals

Products sold through store.eltek.ro benefit from a commercial guarantee and a legal guarantee of conformity, according to GEO no. 34/2014 and Law no. 449/2003.

The downtime due to lack of conformity occurring within the warranty period extends the term of the legal warranty of conformity and that of the commercial warranty and runs, as the case may be, from the moment the seller was informed of the lack of conformity of the product or from the moment the product was presented to the seller/service unit until the product is brought into normal use and, respectively, the written notification for the purpose of picking up the product or effectively handing over the product to the consumer.

Durable products that replace defective products within the warranty period will benefit from a new warranty period that runs from the date of product exchange.

Durable products that are defective within the legal warranty period, when they cannot be repaired or when the cumulative duration of non-functioning due to deficiencies occurring within the legal warranty period exceeds 10% of the duration of this term, at the consumer's request, will be replaced by the seller or the seller will refund the consumer the value of the respective product.

The maximum settlement period is 15 calendar days from the date on which the buyer, as the case may be, informed the seller of the lack of conformity of the product or handed over the product to the seller or the person designated by him based on a handover-takeover document.

The product must be accompanied by:

- The original Warranty Certificate issued by the manufacturer

- Warranty certificate issued by store.eltek.ro

- Copy of tax invoice

- service request number assigned after completing the SERVICE Form

Not covered by the warranty:

1. Faults and damages caused by damage, incorrect connection or faulty operation and maintenance of the equipment by the beneficiary;
2. Faults and damages caused by electrical, mechanical, chemical or atmospheric factors that fall outside the limits provided for in the technical characteristics of the equipment given by the manufacturer and in the operating instructions:
3. use of the product in applications that require performance and qualities other than those offered by the class and purpose for which this product is intended or outside the technical specifications;
4. using the product in inappropriate conditions (e.g. inappropriate supply voltage, non-existent or incorrect grounding, the action of shocks, vibrations, blows or other forms of physical abuse, using the product in inappropriate environmental conditions - actions of chemical substances, noxious substances, smoke, dust or humidity, product failure caused by bad weather or natural disasters);
5. connecting the equipment to an electrical network with frequent power outages or with an inadequate power supply voltage;
6. connecting equipment to improvised sockets or multiple extensions;
7. intervention on the equipment by persons not authorized by the seller;

III. Breaking seals, identification labels or erasing series;

1. Defects and damages caused by force majeure;

ELTEK Multimedia is not responsible for any incompatibilities that may arise between the subassemblies delivered by the seller and the products purchased by the beneficiary from other suppliers.

The product will be repaired (if the conditions in the warranty certificate have been met) and returned to the customer.

We also do not guarantee:

- products that do not benefit from a warranty certificate issued by ELTEK Multumedia

- products whose warranty period has expired;

- products that were sent through courier companies other than those approved by ELTEK Multimedia.

ELTEK Multimedia reserves the right not to be responsible for:

- the duration and condition of products delivered through courier companies other than the agreed ones;

- products shipped without a service request number;

- products damaged during transport as a result of improper packaging, this requires the original packaging of the product

Products are sent for service only if you have completed the form below.

The product warranty is not transferable. ELTEK Multimedia SRL has a contractual obligation only to the holder of the purchase invoice.
