The AirMedia AM-3200, from Crestron, is a wireless presentation and conference system that allows participants to connect to AV (audio-video) equipment in the meeting room via USB and HDMI ports.
Being easy to deploy and manage, it can be installed in conference rooms, meeting rooms, lounges, lobbies and more, to achieve productive collaboration environments.
Wireless content sharing
With AirMedia technology, users can wirelessly present content from laptops, smartphones and tablets over an external wireless network. Present content from desktop or laptop computers using Crestron’s easily downloadable client software or the AirMedia extension for the Google Chrome™ web browser (Windows® 10 computers only). With the AirMedia app, you can also present content from Android™ and iOS® mobile devices.
Varied connectivity
The system can be mounted next to or behind a display to create a smart collaboration room. It provides wireless presentation capabilities, with an HDMI® output to the display (4K signal), an HDMI input, and various USB interfaces for wireless conferencing and touchscreen functionality. Connect your laptop, phone, tablet, or other source to instantly present your image on the display.
Present up to four sources simultaneously
With AirMedia Canvas, you can present up to four sources simultaneously. To maximize the display area, AirMedia Canvas automatically configures the best possible display based on the number of active presenters, the type of sources, and their aspect ratios. Use the AirMedia app or a separately sold connected touchscreen to manage your sources and the images they provide on the screen.
Wireless access to audio-video peripherals
AirMedia provides wireless access to a range of conferencing peripherals, such as soundbars, cameras or speakers. Connected peripherals are immediately available on the user's laptop for use in Microsoft Teams® or Zoom™.
Integration with conference scheduling and management software
When no source is connected, the AM-3200 displays a customizable welcome message on the room display with simple instructions for connecting and presenting. Integration with Microsoft Exchange Server® (for Outlook® and Microsoft 365® users), Google Calendar™ or Crestron Fusion® allows space availability and meeting details to be displayed on the screen. As the meeting progresses, notifications appear periodically indicating both the time remaining in the meeting and the next scheduled event. Pop-up messages, sent by Crestron Fusion, can also appear in case of an emergency or to convey an important announcement.
Remote management
The AM-3200 is compatible with XiO Cloud, which allows IT administrators to easily deploy and manage thousands of devices. XiO Cloud enables system alerts and network management.
Appspace Digital Signage Application
When the room is not occupied or no presentation is being made, the system can display content for commercial purposes, from a channel of the Appspace application, by Digital Signage.
Increased security
Using standard network security protocols, such as 802.1x network access control, Active Directory® authentication, and AES content encryption, the system ensures confidentiality and compliance with your organization's IT policies.
