The Bosch HD Conference Dome is an extremely compact and easy-to-mount PTZ (Pan-Tilt-Zoom) camera equipped with industry-standard HD-SDI output for excellent HD video quality. This camera offers full network-based control of all dome functions, including pan, tilt, zoom and preset operations, as well as configuration of all dome settings via the web interface.
Using the camera
The HD Conference Dome is designed exclusively for use in conferencing applications.
Outstanding construction features
With a dome diameter of just 5.04" (12.8cm), the HD Conference Dome is almost 50% smaller than the Bosch AutoDome. These compact dimensions make it ideal for conference environments. Despite its compact design, the HD Conference Dome offers cutting-edge technology and features rare to most compact PTZ cameras. Variable pan and tilt speeds and AutoPivot ensure optimal camera control and viewing at all zoom levels.
160x high performance (10x optical).
The autofocus zoom camera (16x digital) incorporates the latest digital imaging technology with excellent sensitivity and resolution. With 64 user-defined presets, the HD Conference Dome does not compromise on functionality. The HD Conference Dome maximizes your conference investment by integrating with Bosch conference systems, including the DCN Next Generation conference system as well as the DCN Wireless discussion system. The HD Conference Dome is easy to install and use, available in surface, wall, recessed and pipe mounting options.
High-performance day/night PTZ camera
The HD Conference Dome PTZ camera features a 1/2.5" progressive scan CMOS sensor. With a resolution of up to 1080p and a sensitivity of less than 1.0 lux, the HD Conference Dome offers exceptional performance at a very affordable price. The repeatability of the pan and tilt presets is precise, with +/-0.1 degrees, to ensure that the correct image is captured every time. The HD Conference Dome offers variable pan/tilt speeds, from a slow motion speed of just 1 degree per second to an ultra-fast speed of 120 ° per second. The dome is capable of pan speeds of 360 ° per second and tilt speeds of 100 ° per second between presets. The HD Conference Dome offers a tilt range of 0 ° to 94 ° and a continuous rotation range of up to 360 ° . AutoScaling (proportional zoom) and AutoPivot (automatic rotation and flip of the camera) functions ensure a optimal control.
Standard HD-SDI output
The HD Conference Dome uses a standard HD-SDI output for excellent HD video quality. The HD Conference Dome supports 1080p/30 and 720p/60 resolutions for 50Hz and 60Hz models at a 16:9 aspect ratio.
Multiple video streams
In addition to HD-SDI output, Bosch's innovative Quadstreaming feature allows the HD Conference Dome to deliver three H.264 streams along with one M-JPEG stream in full and reduced bandwidth modes for monitoring.
Image stabilization
The image stabilization algorithms included with the HD Conference Dome reduce camera shake on both the vertical and horizontal axes, resulting in exceptional image clarity. Bosch's unique image stabilization solution does not reduce the camera's sensitivity, unlike competing systems.
reliability
As with all Bosch products, the HD Conference Dome has been subjected to the most comprehensive and rigorous set of endurance tests, such as HALT (Hybrid Life Testing), to ensure it will withstand years of use.
Network-based control and configuration
The HD Conference Dome enables complete camera control and configuration capabilities over the network. Operators or technicians can control the camera’s pan, tilt, zoom and presets remotely, without the need for additional cables. The built-in web server allows the installer to access all user settings, make camera adjustments and update firmware via a standard web browser or the Bosch Video Management System.
Device management
SNMP (Simple Network Management Protocol) support facilitates remote monitoring and management. The HD Conference Dome offers full support for SNMP v3.
Power over Ethernet
Power for the indoor camera models can be supplied via a Power over Ethernet Plus (PoE+, IEEE 802.3at, Class 4) compatible network cable. With this configuration, only a single cable connection is required to power and control the camera, while images from the camera are monitored via the web server. An additional coaxial cable is required for the video from the HD-SDI output.
