The Yamaha YVC-330 is a USB and Bluetooth speakerphone that can be used in open workspaces and small to medium-sized meeting rooms. With the SoundCap mode, you can transform quiet meeting rooms, noisy open spaces, and any office area into a comfortable space for remote communication.
SoundCap - new sound signal processing technology that allows comfortable and noise-free communication in open work areas
Users can hold meetings in open workspaces that previously seemed unsuitable for remote communication without being disturbed by surrounding noise. When there are no available rooms or when a meeting has been quickly arranged, users can bring a Yamaha YVC-330 speakerphone into an open workspace and start remote communication anytime, anywhere.
Far Field Noise Reduction (FFNR)
The problem: Open workspaces can be noisy due to conversations between colleagues, office equipment, and nearby meetings. When you host remote meetings, your conversation can be disrupted by these noises, and remote participants will have difficulty hearing you clearly.
The solution: Far Field Noise Reduction (FFNR) takes over your conversations while reducing distracting noise around you. The YVC-330 features a three-microphone array that can recognize the sound of your voice against unwanted background noise. So participants in faraway places can hear you loud and clear, enabling better collaboration.
When using SoundCap mode, the speaker can accurately calculate the distance to sound sources and effectively attenuate sounds outside the capture area (within a one-meter radius). This ensures that human voices within a 1-meter radius are transmitted clearly to distant participants.
Self-Silence
The problem: Even within the virtual walls of an open-plan workspace conversation, there can be a lot of ambient noise that can be heard. Whether it's a phone ringing, computer typing, or papers shuffling, sudden noises can be disruptive, especially for participants who are far away.
The Solution: The YVC-330 includes an auto-mute function that automatically turns off the microphone when a meeting participant is not speaking. Using Yamaha’s Human Voice Activity Detection (HVAD) technology, the YVC-330 can instantly distinguish the human voice from other sounds. Participants can count on a smooth conversation without unnecessary noise, whether they are speaking or not.
Self-Volume Balancer
The problem: When using a speakerphone in open work areas, the speaker output can sometimes be too quiet or too loud when the ambient background noise changes, causing information to be lost or an inconvenience to surrounding employees. In some cases, there is also the risk of private information being overheard.
The solution: With the auto-leveling volume function, the YVC-330 automatically adjusts the volume according to the ambient noise to maintain an appropriate speaker volume level at all times. Participants can conduct remote meetings in open spaces with perfect hearing of the conversation, without disturbing others and maintaining the confidentiality of the meeting content.
Helps users have clear and comfortable conversations in meeting rooms, freeing users from audio issues such as poor sound quality or difficulty listening
In a quiet small to medium-sized meeting room, the speakerphone can pick up the voices of speakers from a wide area. The speakerphone can also provide sound at a sufficient volume. Users are no longer bothered by common audio issues and can comfortably talk to each other for better team collaboration.
Small and lightweight USB-powered design brings portability to the office
The YVC-330 is sized and designed to be lightweight, easy to carry, and simple to connect to a PC via a USB cable. This enables remote communication in any workspace, from open areas to meeting rooms, in a variety of situations.
Equipped with multiple leading sound signal processing technologies to achieve improved communication
To ensure stress-free, trouble-free and comfortable long-distance communication, the YVC-330 is equipped with sound signal processing function.
Speakerphones can eliminate unwanted sound for long-distance communication and transmit only your voice to the other party. Audio quality is controlled by the environment in which the speaker is used, and sound problems may occur. However, Yamaha's sound signal processing ensures high stability, automatically adapting to the environment in which the speakerphone is to be used, providing high-clarity sound to long-distance conversation partners anytime, anywhere. Therefore, users using the YVC-330 can also experience comfortable long-distance communication anytime, anywhere.
The YVC-330 utilizes Yamaha's most advanced audio signal processing technology. This allows the Yamaha YVC-330 speakerphone to deliver both high-quality sound, surpassing the performance of the YVC-300, and high stability unlike any other portable speakerphone (competing device).
Adaptive echo canceller – provides the clarity essential for effective business communication
Noise reduction – reduces noise for clearer communication
Automatic gain controller – ensures everyone can hear and be heard
Reverberation Suppressor – eliminates reverberant sounds for more comfortable and easier-to-hear vocals
Human Voice Activity detection (HVAD) – distinguishes the human voice from noise
Three high-performance microphones track users to capture voices in high quality
The YVC-330 is equipped with three high-performance unidirectional microphones that detect where speakers are positioned and automatically track the direction of the voice, allowing for clear focus and capture of human voices. In combination with the HVAD, automatic tracking allows the microphones to capture human voices more than ambient sounds. This is useful for communicating in noisy environments or in meetings with a large number of participants, making it easier to hear and allowing for stress-free communication.
Reach the highest volume in the USB bus-powered class (91 dB maximum intensity)
The maximum noise level is currently 91 dB. The frequency bandwidth for playback ranges from 190 – 20,000 Hz. This wide range makes a variety of voices, from high to low, easier to hear and allows for stress-free communication.
With various expansion and connectivity possibilities, remote communication can be exactly how you want it.
No specific driver is required. Thanks to “Plug-and-Play” connectivity, users can start meetings immediately by connecting a Yamaha YVC-330 speakerphone and a PC with a USB cable. Users can also daisy-chain two units with an optional cable to support approximately 10 participants in a meeting. With multiple interfaces, the YVC-330 can flexibly connect with smartphones, tablets and video conferencing systems to meet different user needs.
